RWANDA: New MF Policy Released

A national microfinance policy setting out principles for the development of the microfinance sector in Rwanda.

In May 2007, the Republic of Rwanda's Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning released the National Microfinance Policy. This policy covers the following areas:


  • Microfinance and National Objectives
  • The Microfinance Sector Policy
  • Sector Strategies
  • Institutional Framework for Policy Intervention
